Klayton Turns 2

I can't believe my baby is 2! He has been obsessed with mickey mouse, so I made him a mickey mouse cake. He sat and watched me make it the whole time...which is saying something Klayton, because he doesn't whole still. He was so excited to eat his cake. I love this little independent boy!

Hike to the Y on our 10th Anniversary

We took the boys hiking up to the Y for our 10th Anniversary. It was a beautiful day and hiking to the Y has always been something I have wanted to do as a family. All the boys were troopers on the hike. They all did so good! It was neat looking down on the city from the trail. We all thought it was cool to see air planes flying below us. It was a perfect way to spend the day I enjoyed every minute of it!

Snowboarding

I had been looking forward to this moment for a long time! I had gotten a snowboard for my birthday in April and have been sooo excited to take the boys!!! We rented Kellen and Karson snowboards for the season, so they could learn. We had to go up on the mountain to find a little snow to practice on. I loved watching the boys snowboard! It was fun to teach them how! They did awesome for their first time!

Christmas Eve/Christmas Day

Christmas Eve was a beautiful day! We would usually go snowboarding or sledding, but with no snow we went to the park to play and on our way home we stopped to play in the river. Later that evening we enjoyed good food and playing games in our matching PJs that my Mom makes for everyone. Kaejha arranged a cute program that the kids did that night for everyone. Coming home that night there was a bad storm I was soooo grateful we had the truck and for prayer or we wouldn't have made it home.

Christmas morning was exciting. Everyone was happy with what they got. Klayton got a Orange kayak, Korbin got his trampoline, Karson got his blue bike, and Kellen got a cricket rifle. We got the boys a Nintendo Switch as well......I think that was the highlight of Christmas for the boys and Trevor.

Klayton loved his Mickey air plane he got from Grandma and Grandpa Johnson!

Christmas Break Fun

We were missing the snow to play in during Christmas break, so we made the most of things and had a bond fire out on the desert with family. We love going out one the desert. Trevor and I took Tiff and Dal's fourwheeler for a ride to go check out the little goblin valley while the boys had fun playing with cousin's at mushroom rock.

December

We have the best neighbor!
The weather this winter has been crazy warm...I have enjoyed it, but feel guilty to be enjoying it. We need snow! I have loved being able to get outside and go for walks with this crew!
Trevor has love using his wood burning stove....set off the fire alarms a few times and put Klayton into a panic, but it is sure nice and cozy when the fire gets going.
Trevor and I were both sick one Sunday and Klayton was so good to come snuggle his Mommy to help me feel better.
We sure enjoyed watching Karson and Kellen in the school Christmas program. They both did a great job and sang cute Christmas songs.
I didn't get pictures, but we also took the boys to the festival of lights in Spanish Fork and to Salem ponds to see the lights. The boys love it! It was fun watching how excited Klayton would get looking at the lights.

Christmas Tree/Santa

We got our Christmas tree up and the boys had a lot of fun decorating our tree up stairs and the little tree we had down stairs. I am usually funny about where the ornaments go on the tree, but this year I just let the boys take over and put them where ever. Klayton rearranged the trees a few times before Christmas.

We made it to go see Santa. The boys were excited to tell him what they wanted for Christmas. Kellen wanted more bay blades, Karson wanted a bike, and Korbin wanted a trampoline. Klayton was not a fan of Santa. I am just glad I got a picture of him with Santa.
