Boys

My three boys around the same age, with big grins on their faces. All of them so different. I love my sweet babies.

First Night In The Crib

This little boy spoils his mommy. He slept in his crib for the first time last night and slept the whole night. He is such a good baby. Sad to say, but we will be moving Korbin into his own room soon. Sad because I don’t want my baby to get big and I am really going to miss having a toy room.

6 years

Trevor and I had our 6th wedding anniversary on the 28th of December. I am blessed beyond measure to be married to my best friend and to have three sweet little boys in my life. Trevor cares and gives of himself freely, he is a good example to me and to our boys. He truly is my better half. I love him more and more as the years go by.

Korbin 4 months

Korbin turned 4 months on the 28th of December. At his 4 month check up he weighed 13 pounds and 9 ounces and he was 24.75 inches long. He loves his rice cereal, sitting in his high chair, jumping in his bouncer, and watching his brothers. This boy has been sleeping through the night for quiet awhile now. I feel spoiled. He likes to sleep in his swing, so the whole sleeping through the night thing will probably end when he out grows his swing. I am keeping my fingers cross that he will keep sleeping through the night. He is such a sweet, good baby. I truly enjoyed having him in our home.

Sledding

We took Kellen and Karson sledding the day after Christmas. The road up by the spring makes a perfect sledding hill, you can get good speed going down that road.

Christmas

I love Christmas time! Having kids makes Christmas time so fun. This year Santa sent a elf on the shelf to watch the boys to make sure they were being good. They loved waking up in the mornings looking for Frosty their elf. For Christmas Eve we went over to Grandma and Grandpa Scow’s house. All of my brothers and sister were there with their families besides Cammie and her family. I loved every minute of being with my family we had so much fun sledding, playing card games, eating yummy food, hanging out in our Christmas PJs, and play Christmas games. Kellen had a ball sledding we couldn’t keep him and Tee off the sleds, despite it being windy. Karson went on the sled with me while my Dad pulled us behind his truck. Karson liked it, but I think it was a little too cold for him, he was pretty happy hanging out with Grandma Scow in the truck. Christmas morning was priceless seeing Kellen and Karson getting excited over the things they got for Christmas. I think their favorite thing they got for Christmas was their leap pads. Christmas was over too soon.

Santa Clause

We took the boys to go see Santa Clause, so they could tell him what they wanted for Christmas. Surprisingly Karson didn’t cry he was a bit nervous, but he still sat on Santa’s lap. Kellen was just happy to see him. We than took the boys to the light festival. They thought that was pretty neat. They loved to point out everything they saw. It sure was a fun evening.

Fun in the snow

The first snow of the winter and Trevor put up Christmas lights while the boys played in the snow. Kellen had fun making snow angles and Karson liked eating the snow mostly. They sure had fun playing in it though!
I thought it was funny that Karson's eyelashes had snow piled on them.

Temple Square

We started the Christmas season with a trip up to Temple Square to see the Christmas lights. We went right after Thanksgiving because the weather was warm. It was so fun to see the excitement on the boy’s faces when they saw the Christmas lights and the Temple. For me the coolest part of that night was when we were looking at the nativity scene they had set up there. We gathered around to hear the presentation that they do with the nativity scene. I was holding Karson and he kept pointing to where baby Jesus was and would say “I want to go see baby Jesus.” Too bad we weren’t able to take him on the grass to see the baby Jesus, because they have it fenced off. It was a good reminder for me to help me remember the baby Jesus this Christmas season.
