Memorial Day Weekend

Where we had such a dry winter we were able to get up on the mountain and camping for memorial day weekend. We went to a spot that I went camping at as a kid up by Pete's Hole. It was so beautiful and green up there. At camp the boys had fun playing with there cousin's, making and shooting rockets, shooting their guns, and finding and making huts. Klayton and Korbin liked find little white shell's at camp. At the time Klayton loved to watch Mona and when he found a shell he would bring it to you and say "wona" because he that it was the "heart of Tifiti." It was so cute! Trevor and I went for a walk one evening and Trevor found a elk shed. He was pretty excited about it. This was also our first time taking our trailer camping. The boys were excited to sleep in the bunk beds. For the most part the weather was decent. We did have one day where it rained. One of the days we hiked in to Academy lake. It was the first time Trevor and the boys had been there. It is a beautiful lake that has "islands" that you can fish on. Kellen caught the biggest fish and I am pretty sure it was the biggest fish he caught that whole summer he was so excited! Everyone was catching fish that day. The boys were very entertained as they watch Grandpa gut the fish. One morning we took the boys on the fourwheelers to go see some water falls. Later that day we went to Pete's Hole to do a little fishing but, we didn't catch a whole lot. It was good time. We love the mountains!
