Hiking to the top of Mt. Nebo was a lot more challenging that I thought it was going to be! If I remember right we started hiking at 7:00 and didn't get back to the van until 2:00pm. The trail was pretty much up hill the whole way and got really steep in some places. Once we got to the summit I was kind of freaking out, because we were so high and I thought we would never make it back down with out falling to our death! Once we made it to the top I had to sit down and clam myself down and then after that I was fine. It was one of the most beautiful hikes I had been on and definitely one of my favorite. I was challenging which made it feel like a big accomplishment to make it to the top. Every time I look at Mt. Nebo now I imagine Trevor and I up and the top and all the breath taking views a long the way. Oh I almost forgot Trevor's favorite part MOUNTAIN GOATS. We got pretty close to some of them and Trevor was like a little school boy, because he was so excited. I for sure want to do this hike again....and again and again!

School Starts
I sure have handsome boys! Kellen started 3rd grade, Karson started 1st grade, and
Korbin start preschool. 3rd grade for Kellen was quiet on adjustment, because he is now in the "older grades" and doesn't get as many recesses. Karson was way excited for 1st grade, because he gets to go to school all day like Kellen and have lunch at school. Korbin was just excited to go to school!

Get away before school and Trevor's new job
Trevor switch job after 12 years of working at the turkey plant. So the weekend before he started his new job and before the boys started school we went up on the mountain. We went horse riding the night we got there and also the next morning. Of course we had to go to the lake and catch some craw dads as well.

Scow Family Reunion
The Scow reunion is always a good time and with great food. Trevor enjoyed smoking food for everyone, the boys enjoyed kayaking on the pond with cousins and I enjoyed just being with my family. We went to mammoth caves with everyone. The boys had fun exploring the caves with their Uncle Kyle. I got a little freaked out by the dark tight spaces. I did make it through one of the cave all the way. It was scary though...I saw a rat right next to me. No one believes me, but I know for a fact there was a rat in that cave! I saw it with my flashlight! We also had fun hiking to a waterfall, playing volleyball and other games with everyone.
