We started the Christmas season with a trip up to Temple Square to
see the Christmas lights. We went right after Thanksgiving because the weather
was warm. It was so fun to see the excitement on the boy’s faces when they saw
the Christmas lights and the Temple .
For me the coolest part of that night was when we were looking at the nativity scene
they had set up there. We gathered around to hear the presentation that they do
with the nativity scene. I was holding Karson and he kept pointing to where
baby Jesus was and would say “I want to go see baby Jesus.” Too bad we weren’t
able to take him on the grass to see the baby Jesus, because they have it
fenced off. It was a good reminder for me to help me remember the baby Jesus
this Christmas season.
