Well I didn't get a deer, but I sure enjoyed spending time with Trev opening day horseback riding and hiking in the mountains. My parents took the boys for the weekend while we hunted. My Dad is so good to our boys, he took them to the dollar store and bought army men for them and then he made them rubber band guns and showed them how to use the rubber band guns to shoot the army men. They had a blast playing with the guns. The next week we took the boys up to the cabin after Trev got off work to see if we could find a little buck to shoot, but all we saw was a whole lot of does. The boys were such good little hikers and we awesome at pointing out any deer they did see.
