The Zoo

Kellen's friend Rachel and her mom Tammy invited me and the boys to go to the zoo with them the other day. This was Kellen's 3rd time to the zoo and Karson's 2nd. The animals were really active and there was hardly any people there, so we always got to be right up next to the animals. It was a fun day Kellen is always happy when he get to play with Rachel.

 

Karson was scared of all the animals. I don't know if it was because the animals were more active or what but he sat in the stroller the whole time. He has been sick so that might have played a part in his behavior. The last time he went he loved it.  

The kids loved to climb on the animal statues. Besides Karson....



 

I think Kellen's favorite part of the whole zoo was the polar bear.

There was also sea lions that would come right up next to ya.

The rhinos! Usually when we go to the zoo we don't get a good view of the rhinos, but this time they were right up close.

Kellen and Rachel were a little obsessed with their maps they had to carry them everywhere!

Karson looking at the monkeys. Right after I took this picture the monkey on the ground jumped up to the window right in front of Karson and he screamed! It was pretty funny!

Usually when we come to the zoo kids are crawling all over this elephant, but we had it all to ourselves it was pretty nice to go to the zoo on a not so crowed day!
