California

Saturday at 1:00 A.M. we made our drive to California. With the boys being young it really is the easiest way to travel. We drove straight to Huntington Beach with out any traffic or problems we got there at 9:40 A.M. We had the whole day to spend at the beach. The boys were so excited to get out of the car and go play in the waves. Klayton was not a fan of the ocean, but loved playing in the sand. We walked out on one of the peninsula and there was a pelican just hanging out not scared of a thing. The boys thought it was pretty neat and had to take a picture of it. We ate at this really good little Mexican by the beach. We then headed to New Port beach to check in to where we were staying and met my Mom and Dad there. We spent the rest of the evening hanging out at the resort.  

Sunday we walked down to Crystal Cove Beach and spent the day there. The boys had fun fighting the waves with these bamboo sticks they found and Korbin accidentally fell and got all wet. He spent the rest of the time wearing Kellen's jacket and his underwear. After we got back from the beach Cammie and Kyle's family had made it to the resort. Trevor and I made a Sunday dinner for everyone. Trevor barbecued some chicken and I made potatoes. The boys were so excited to have their cousins there to play with.

Monday we walked down to Crystal Cove again with everyone. We had the boys wear their swimming suits this time so they could get out in the water and play in the wet sand. They had fun playing with their cousins. Kyle found a star fish and Meagan found a little baby crab that the kids thought were pretty neat. We then went back to the resort and went to the pool and went swimming for a while. After swimming we walked around the resort went to the park, fish pound, and played checkers with the boys. I love spending time with my boys.
