Thursday we spent the day at Balboa Island, it was a 10 minute drive from where we were staying. When we got there we bought the boys and ice cream and walked to and got on the fairy that took us to the far side of Balboa Island where the beach was. When we got off the fairy there was a few rides that we took the kids on. I got to ride the Ferris wheel with the boys. The view was beautiful. The beach on Balboa Island was a pretty cool place that had a play ground for the kids to play on right there on the beach. It was good beach for finding sea shells. There was sea shells every where! Karson and I had fun collecting shells while Kellen and Korbin played in the water and Dad and Klayton had fun playing in the sand. We then walked out on the peninsula and had dinner at a restaurant out there. While we were waiting for our food we had fun watching the sea lions steal the bait from the people fishing off the peninsula. It was a beautiful evening and it was so neat to watch the sun set from the beach.
Our last day in California was a chill laid back day. We spent the whole day at the resort swimming at the pool and playing at the park area with cousins. We had a barbecue that night with everyone and enjoyed watching the sunset. It was a perfect way to end an amazing vacation. We are counting down the days until we can go back again. I love making memories with my family.
