We couldn't have asked for better weather to go camping in for Easter being so early in the year this year. The boys had tons of fun playing with their cousins and exploring the rock walls around our camp. The first night we were there Shalee and Davin came out for dinner and stayed around to play corn hole with us. That night we colored Easter eggs with the boys. Kellen and Karson colored their eggs as fast as they could, so they could go outside and play again. That night Trevor went outside and fired a shot from his Dad's 20 pistil and told all the kids he had shot the Easter Bunny. All the kids were sad and was not very happy with Trevor. The next morning the Easter Bunny had come! All the kids were excited to find their buckets and the Easter eggs they had painted the night before. We listened to both General Conference sessions that day. Trevor and I did a little exploring ourselves climbing the rock walls by where we camped. It was fun going for a hike with him while the boys themselves enjoyed playing in the rocks surrounding camp. When we got back we went on hike with all the kids on the rock wall above our camp it was pretty neat and the view was awesome. We than went on a fourwheeler ride down to swinging bridge to let the kids play in the river. They loved it! They could have stayed there all day! Kellen slept in a ten Saturday night with Shannon and Tyson while Kort and Karson slept in Grandma's trailer. Sunday we mostly listened to Conference and ate good food and packed up and went home. The kids didn't want to leave they were begging to stay. We love camping on the desert!
